Our company, the FuG Elektronik GmbH was founded on July, 1st 1978 in Rosenheim by Erich Fritz and Gerhard Giebichenstein. Right from the beginning, the goal was the development, production and selling of highly precise DC voltage power supply units with the requirement Quality from Rosenheim.Development of turnover At the beginning 15 employees on 250 square meters manufactured the first power supplies. Our main customers already in that time were Universities, scientific institutes and companies with sophisticated manufacturing technologies. Meanwhile we have 2500 square meters of manufacturing floor and approx. 70 permanent employees. Managing directors and owners of the company are today Gerhard Giebichenstein and Wolfgang Fritz. Our company grows The FuG Elektronik GmbH is still a pure exempt private company and does not belong to any other company or company group. All of the power supplies, which we sell, are developed and produced only in our site. Parts of the manufacturing (mainly wiring, printed circuit board assembly and mechanical work) are implemented by subcontractors, whereby the quality-determining production steps are done by ourselves. Approx. 40% of the employees are working in development, construction and quality assurance. The company is certified according to DIN ISO 9001 since 1994. All power supply units fulfil the requirements for the CE indication and are marked accordingly to it. Each equipment, which leaves the house, is tested in all functions and examined for agreement with the assured technical data. Before shipment also a duration test of 8 hours at least is mandatory. We are proud on the high reliability of our products, which we get again and again confirmed by many of our customers. Our strength: high quality of products and large flexibility regarding customers requests - we want to consolidate. So we will fulfill the high expectations, which are set into us by our customers. In order to keep the selling and information paths short, FuG Elektronik GmbH puts value on good customer contact and usually sells its products directly to the final customer. Thereby we are supported by our partner companies in many countries, which are to the customers disposal as local partners.
