2002 marked the 50th anniversary of Deltron Inc. Founded by Aaron Anton in 1952, the company has changed considerably since its early days operating out of the Anton home in Glenside, Pennsylvania. The company quickly outgrew home production and moved to a rented factory in Philadelphia. Deltrons earliest products included high voltage and laboratory power supplies. A pioneer in the introduction of new technology, the company soon moved into production of modular and control system supplies. In 1965, Deltron established its corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations in North Wales, Pennsylvania. The company grew in size and stature as a result of its ongoing commitment to technological superiority and personalized customer service. A second production facility in Mexico was added in 1989, giving Deltron approximately 100,000 square feet of manufacturing area. Today, the company produces a wide range of standard and custom linear and switching power supplies. Our newest lines include power factor corrected, hot-swappable and redundant units and single and multiple output ultra-compact power supplies covering a full range of wattages. Aaron Anton continues to preside over the company, guiding its team of experienced and dedicated engineers in the development of new products and providing the perspective and experience that comes from half a century in the field of power electronics.
