EGRA - stands for high-quality. For many years, EGRA has been a guaranteed producer of high-class products and ideas connected with high-voltage technology and electrostatics. The company was founded by an extraordinary man, Egon Graf, who first became known in the early fourties when he built an electric motorbike. His aim was to built capacitors distinguished by two main characteristics; high-quality hand-manufactured products combined with a high level of reliability. From 1945 onwards, the first capacitors were made for radios, alternating- current capacitors electric motors and Tesla transformers. Knowledge grows out of experience. Up to the present day, EGRA has always been dedicated to this high quality. What has changed through time is our range of products. In the fifties, EGRA manufactured starter capacitors. Since then EGRA has been an innovative company in the area of development and production of high-voltage capacitors and generators. Various new high-voltage products have also been introduced during this period. Furthermore many new products from high-voltage technology have been added to our range.
